Welcome to Gagle Brook Primary School
Gagle Brook School opened in 2018, as an eco-school, using the 10 One Planet Principles to promote the importance of sustainable living and its positive impact on the quality of life.
We are a new, purpose-built primary school serving the Gagle Brook and Caversfield community. Every year, we have continued to grow, adding a new intake so in September 2024, our school was complete from Nursery up to Year 6.
Gagle Brook Primary School offers:

- A wonderful outdoor space for playtimes, lunchtimes and outdoor learning.
- Adventure playground.
- Our Nest Specialist Resource base offers education to pupils with an EHCP and identified ASD - Autistic Spectrum Disorder.
- EYFS Unit includes: Nursery provision for 3-4 year olds where a team of experienced carers and educators create exciting first steps into learning where the majority of children transition into our Reception class.
- An average sized school hall
- A vibrant library area to celebrate a wide variety of authors and themes.
- A strong pupil voice developed through the Pupil Leadership Team
- A Positive Playtimes Team who support MDSAs and the pupils at lunchtimes to ensure they are ready to learn once back in the classroom. This includes a game area, reading snugs and mindfulness colouring in zone.
- Our Learning Mentor supports pupil's mental health and wellbeing.
- Wellbeing studio is a calm space where the Learning mentor can help children to cope with their emotions and are given strategies to ensure they can be the best version of themselves.
- Eco Team who are helping to make us a kinder school to our planet
- A variety of after-school clubs.
